The TRI-STRETCH® baseball program utilizes the evidence based concept of kinetic chain training. It is well published in the research that the pattern of force development is from the ground through the core to the distal segment in the baseball throw
Hence training should include kinetic chain training; training the muscles in synchrony with one another replicating the joint interactions of the pitching motion.
The TRI-STRETCH® program trains both the stance leg and the plant leg of the baseball pitcher along with the core and shoulder musculature. Exercises are based on the biomechanics of the pitching motion and the unique capability of working on the TRI-STRETCH® turned in the plantar flexed position(heel higher than the ball of the foot), allows for replication of the plant leg position as the pitcher strides down the mound.
